ASTi to provide U.S. Navy helo sim equipment

Advanced Simulation Technology Inc. (ASTi) will deliver communications simulation systems for U.S. Navy MH-60S and MH-60R helicopter simulators.
Herndon, Va.-based ASTi will provide its Telestra audio and communications equipment for the CAE-built helicopter simulators, which are scheduled for delivery from next year.
Naval Air Systems Command out of Orlando, Fla., is managing the helicopter simulation program.
ASTi has recently delivered the fourth of six shipments of Digital Audio Communication System equipment to Rockwell Collins Simulation and Training for installation on Navy P-3C Orion full-flight simulators. The final two shipments will be delivered by year end.
